The problem with Glee secretive plans for next season is that fans have taken any hint of a character leaving and reacted – let’s just say – badly. Viewers of the show can be intense so, with characters scattered all over the country, concern for certain players has been understandably heightened.
One of those characters is Finn, whose future became questionable when it was revealed he’d spend some undisclosed portion of season four in the army. Well, Cory Monteith has quelled those rumours, as he told THR that he’d appear in “a lot” of the episodes.
“Finn would make a good soldier but I think he’s still got a lot to think about – he still has a lot going for him outside of the army,” he said. “His heart is still with Rachel (Lea Michele) and I think he has a lot of reasons to not be in the army as well. I think he’d be torn as a soldier.”
Sadly for Finchel haters (like us), he also encourages fans to “root for the couple to reunite.” He adds, “I hope when we look back at it, they will be a legendary couple in television.” Brace yourselves, Glee returns on September 13th.
